I made this illustration of Archie after his owner had seen my illustration of Vincey last Christmas. It was nice to do a little bit of pen and ink work - I then added the colour with a mixture of water colour and marker pens.
Buffy the Biscuit Slayer
Dan emailed me with a proposition to create a comic book cover for an imaginary comic which would feature himself, his wife Jess, and their ridiculously adorable chihuahua Buffy. Of course I was on board immediately.
I had lots of fun capturing the fabulous couple and their best girl. Dan ended up spilling the beans to Jess once he saw the sketch as he was so excited. Honestly, I was very excited too!
Cuties (and a monstera)
This commission of Garryck, Sophie and their assorted animals filled me with joy. It was commissioned by Garryck for Sophie’s birthday and she was thrilled. I just loved getting to draw all the wonderful pieces from their life together. I also really loved getting to put this together as Garryck gave me loads to work with and I loved the challenge of fitting it all into one really special piece.
Bonus - while drawing this I caved and bought a monstera of my own.
Sunshine Cat
A gift I made for my partner. I can’t seem to stop illustrating our cat, Vincey. This is inspired by my love of Totoro and Vinceys love of hiding out under his favourite bush in our garden on warm sunny days. He loves to keep a watch over his kingdom and yell to you when you’re walking up the drive.
